Information you provide

When you subscribe, Ghost processes your email address, subscription preferences and related account information to provide the newsletter and any membership you request. You may unsubscribe using the link in an email or manage preferences through your account.

If you submit a question, we receive the name, email and question you provide. Google Forms stores submissions in our Google Workspace account and sends us a notification linking to the saved response. Asking a question does not subscribe you to marketing. Do not submit sensitive personal information.

Website and email activity

Our hosting and email providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser/device information and service logs to operate and secure the service. Ghost’s built-in web analytics is enabled to measure visits, referral sources and subscription activity. Ghost describes this web analytics service as cookie-free. Newsletter open and click tracking is enabled; email privacy features and image blocking can affect the accuracy of those measurements. No advertising pixels are configured.

How we use information

We use information to provide requested content, manage subscriptions, answer inquiries, investigate corrections, protect the website and understand publication performance. We do not sell your subscriber list.

Service providers, retention and requests

Information is processed by the providers used to deliver these services, including Ghost and Google, and may be processed outside your location. We retain information while needed for the purpose collected, service administration and applicable requirements. You can contact us to ask about access, correction or deletion; we will assess requests under applicable law. Email suppression records may be retained to respect an unsubscribe request.

External links, future products and changes

Account sign-in and embedded services can use cookies or browser storage needed for their features. Google may request necessary cookies to display the embedded question form. You can open the form in a separate tab or email us instead. External websites have their own privacy practices. Before introducing checkout, advertising technology or another material data use, we will update this notice and provide any required choices. This site is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly seek information from children under 13.
