Fly Smart, Not Scared provides general aviation education. Content is not an aircraft operating manual, flight training, emergency instruction, medical advice or a guarantee about a flight. Aircraft systems, procedures, operators and regulations differ. Follow your crew’s instructions and the safety information supplied for your aircraft.

FSNS is independent and does not represent an airline employer. We aim for accurate, understandable explanations and review corrections. Information may change; operational decisions must use the applicable approved sources, not this website.

Content and questions

FSNS text and original illustrations are protected by applicable copyright. Third-party material retains its identified ownership and license. A free download is for personal educational use unless stated otherwise. You retain rights to your submitted question and allow us to review and respond; we will request permission before identifying you publicly.
